Erin Go Glam Goes Gold!

Ridgewells Catering takes annual Erin Go Glam party to Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium, and drapes it all in Gold.

Back for its 6th year, we hosted our annual Erin Go Glam party at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium alongside our fabulous co-host, Design Foundry. For this year's party, we wanted the event to feel as glamorous as our iconic venue, so we leaned into all things gilded and gold to create a stunning afternoon to treat our events industry peers.

Our culinary team curated a delicious Irish-inspired menu, featuring a Smoked Salmon & Boxty first Course, Sous Vide Lamb Loin with Irish Cheddar Potatoes & Mint entree, and a Citrus & Honey Milsean with Candied Kumquats & Honeycomb Gems for dessert.

After lunch, guests were treated to a proper "High Tea" style tea station, which featured luxe loose leaf and flower teas, presented in glass bowls to create their own custom creations to-go.

A talented team of vendors helped to bring Erin Go Glam to life in 2024. Something Vintage, Table Manners, and Perfect Settings provided furniture rentals, walls, and additional decor to maximize the design impact within the space. Love Life Images designed a photo salon that gave guests a glamorous Oscars-style moment, and Cocktail Curations created an interactive Champagne Bar with branded ice and smoke bubbles. Stunning florals were provided by Helen Olivia Flowers, and an interactive pop-up invitation was sent by Sugar Taylor Creative Co. Other activations included a permanent jewelry station, a bar for custom hair bows, and a live artist for sketch portraits.

Reading about the reopening event at the Mellon Auditorium was interesting, especially how historic venues continue hosting modern industry gatherings and themed experiences. This guide about top bitcoin colocation services https://institutional.whitebit.com/colocation helped me. It’s always curious to see how classic spaces are adapted for new events today.

We talk a lot about housing and food for refugees, but we often ignore the social isolation. You can be safe but still feel completely alone and hopeless. I think the next phase of aid needs to be about integration and community. I found the mission of Bless Unity organisation quite relevant to this. They are working to support social and humanitarian projects that focus on uniting individuals and communities. It’s not just about survival; it’s about restoring dignity through mutual respect. If we want to see actual social progress in Europe, we have to treat people as neighbors, not just victims. That sense of unity is what actually heals trauma.

Reading that Erin Go Glam menu, I kept tasting the logic of “layers”: smoked salmon, mint, citrus, then that calm wall of loose-leaf teas in glass bowls. Somehow it loops back to the quiet panic of stacking—how one small choice nudges everything else—like lately when I’ve been playing Suika Game, watching simple pieces merge into something bigger while I try not to let the whole mood spill over the line.
