Happy Earth Day!

At Ridgewells Catering, sustainability isn't just a goal, it's part of how we operate every day. We're proud to be a 3 Star Certified Green Caterer in partnership with the Green Restaurant Association.

How We Achieve Sustainable Catering

To earn this certification, we've implemented 39 sustainability initiatives designed to reduce our environmental impact and operate in an environmentally stable manner. We've also accumulated over 210 GreenPoints across key areas such as energy, water, waste, reusables and disposables, chemicals and pollution, and food.

Some of our most impactful efforts include:

  • implementing 100% LED lighting

  • eliminating Styrofoam

  • introducing back-of-house composting

We also maintain a comprehensive recycling system that covers paper, cardboard, plastic, glass, and aluminum.

Sustainability extends to our menus as well! At least 25% of our entrees are vegetarian, and at least 15% are vegan--offering delicious options that are better for the planet.

Our work doesn't stop here. We're continually looking for new ways to operate more sustainably, without ever compromising on quality, creativity, or flavor.
